Accenture acquires OnProcess technology

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) is to acquire OnProcess Technology, a Boston, MA-based provider of supply chain managed services to help organizations refine processes, improve the way inventory is managed and solve complex service challenges.

The size of the agreement, announced 31 October 2023 was not disclosed. Completion of the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including required antitrust approvals.

With this acquisition, Accenture will enhance its supply chain capabilities, specifically in asset recovery and service supply chain management, making it easier for clients to manage service orders, drive returns, track movements and ensure proper reuse, disposal or reuse of assets.

Together, the two companies will offer customers delivery options in the supply chain with integrated after-sales operations. The combined solution will improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience, all while supporting a more sustainable supply chain.

Led by Oliver Lemanski, CEO, OnProcess specializes in reverse logistics for every step of the after-sales process, leveraging automation, AI and data-driven decision-making to maintain visibility from planning to asset recovery. The company has more than 1,500 employees in the United States, India, Costa Rica and Bulgaria. With their expertise, they serve clients across a diversified portfolio in industries such as communications, media and technology, medical devices, logistics and manufacturing.
