Greenphire and Florence Healthcare software solutions partnership
The company describes itself as a “global leader in patient convenience and financial lifecycle management for clinical trials” and has joined Florence Healthcare, a site enablement platform used by 18,000 affiliated research sites in 55 countries.
The companies say they will use speed, efficiency and transparency as critical focus areas for any successful relationship with sponsor sites to enhance research collaboration around the world.
“By integrating our site payments technology with Florence, sites will have fewer operations to manage and get paid faster. Sponsors and CROs will benefit from greater visibility into site operations and less financial reconciliation at the end of the study,” said Jim Murphy, CEO of Greenphire.
“It’s a win-win situation for all stakeholders in clinical research.”
From their research, the company found that on average, site staff used at least six technology platforms in any given trial. According to the Society for Clinical Research Sites’ 2023 Site Landscape Survey, 41 percent of sites say integrated and consistent technology in clinical research is a top need for sponsors and CROs.
A key benefit of the collaboration between Greenphire and Florence Healthcare is reducing on-site time and effort for manual, administrative work such as reviewing and tabulating data, as well as the need to log into multiple software programs.
“Sites want reliable solutions that are interoperable,” said Ryan Jones, co-founder and CEO of Florence Healthcare.
“With our venue-centric mindset, our goal is to partner with companies like Greenphire who embrace the same mission of improving the venue experience and providing transparency for sponsors, while dramatically improving efficiencies.”
Together, Greenphire and Florence Healthcare validated their technology partnership with numerous industry sponsors and sites.
Greenphire says its suite of technology solutions enables customers to prioritize the patient journey so that treatments and cures can be delivered faster to those who need them.
The company says they are committed to modernizing and integrating every step of the participant journey and the overall clinical trial lifecycle. Greenphire has developed several patient convenience solutions, including a mobile technology platform that provides a personalized and powerful end-to-end participant experience from trial identification through enrollment.
Two of the solutions include ClinCard and ConneX, which remove financial and logistical barriers, simplify the delivery of global patient convenience initiatives, and improve recruitment and retention.
Florence Healthcare is a Site Enablement Platform provider and is committed to accelerating cures by better connecting sponsors, CROs and research sites.
