Redding introduces “Street Scan” technology to look for potholes and bad roads

Redding has introduced a new initiative called “Street scanning” in the hope of making the roads safer.

“Street Scan” employs specialized vehicles equipped with technology to assess road conditions.

These vehicles can identify problems such as potholes, bumps and cracks, with the aim of prioritizing road repairs based on identified needs.
